Our organic smudge sticks are made from single cuttings of smudge, which means there is less loss and breakage of the leaves. They are hand rolled and beautifully tied with natural thread. Their scent is even more intense than standard white sage and their colour can be more varied as a result of being a completely natural product.
The use of dried white sage is a 2,000 year old Indigenous American practice. Shamans use dried sage plants on their fires as a ritual of calling upon ancestral spirits. Any conflict, anger, illness or evil is absorbed by the sage smoke and cleansed from the energy field of a person or location.
White sage has a distinctly beautiful scent when burned.
